Israel Goldstein
Corporal Isadore "Israel" Goldstein (1914–1945) of 2578 Baird Boulevard, Camden, served with Company D, 759th Tank Battalion, U.S. Army. He was killed in action on April 5, 1945 at Nassau, Germany while saving 21 other soldiers, and was posthumously awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart.
