Budd Street is in Camden's Centerville neighborhood, first appearing in City Directories in 1878. The construction of the Clement T. Branch Village public housing project in 1940 further shortened the street, which now begins at South 10th Street.
Beideman Avenue runs through Camden's Cramer Hill and East Camden sections, east of North 32nd Street, from the Delaware River south to Cleveland Avenue and from Lemuel Avenue through what was Westfield Acres to Westfield Avenue. Named for the Beideman family, notable landowners in northern Cramer Hill before its residential development.
Three women and two men injured in automobile accidents over the weekend. Walter H. Holler of 884 Beideman Avenue was involved in a collision near Haddon Avenue and Line Street; two others were hurt at Ferry Avenue and Charles Street.
