Seven People Killed, 2 Injured in Camden Row House Blaze
An early morning fire engulfed a rowhouse at 900 North 28th Street on April 20, 1987, killing seven people including four young children and leaving another child in critical condition. Camden County Prosecutor Samuel Asbell blamed careless smoking; city fire officials disagreed with that finding.
