Boy, Girl Struck on Trestle
John Wawrzyniak Jr., 14, and his sister Karen, 9, of 1121 Orchard Street were killed in December 1957 by a Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines train on the trestle over Mechanic and Louis streets; witnesses said the boy died trying to pull his sister off the tracks.
