Obituary of Charles S. Humphreys
An October 26, 1880 Philadelphia Inquirer obituary: Charles S. Humphreys, Esq., of Third street below Market, Camden, a portrait painter noted for painting horses in motion, died at Long Branch after a short illness. He had lived in Camden about forty years.
