Camden has two separate 12th Streets: North Twelfth, which once ran from Federal Street to the Cooper River before being largely erased by highway construction, and South Twelfth, which runs from Fairview Street to Lakeshore Drive and is lined with post-World War II rowhouses.

Exciting Scenes Feature Big Fire

A mixing-tank explosion touched off a disastrous fire that swept the N.Z. Graves Paint and Varnish Company plant on Twelfth Street, Camden, between Linden and Federal streets — destroying more than half a million dollars in property, injuring three, and driving families from their homes.
