John Acton, son of the late John J. and Bridget Acton, aged 38, died February 27, 1896. Funeral from the residence of his brother-in-law James W. Masten at 124 North 30th Street, Stockton. High mass at St. Joseph's Church; interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
