A. C. Batten Services Set For Friday
Services for Arthur C. Batten, 69, of 1132 N. 22nd St., Camden, who died yesterday in Cooper Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Murray Funeral Home, 408 Cooper St., where friends may call tomorrow night. Burial will be in New Camden Cemetery.
Capt. Batten was a retired Acting Battalion Chief of the Camden Fire Department and a former captain of the department's Rescue Squad. Capt. Batten retired from the department four years ago, after 42 years of service.
He was a member of the Camden Police and Fire Association and an honorary member of the New Jersey Fire Chiefs Association.
Capt. Batten is survived by his wife Mabel; two daughters, Karen, and Carol Narducci, both at home; and six sisters.
