Accused of Shooting at Policeman — Declared to have frightened children by firing a revolver at them, Charles Kabanski, thirty-nine years old, of 885 Jefferson street, not only put up a terrific fight with Policeman Johnson when an attempt was made to arrest him, but also discharged the weapon at him. A large crowd followed and Kabanski was overpowered. He said he had carried the gun for self-protection. Recorder Stackhouse gave him three months in jail.
