Atlantic City, Feb. 14. Roxie Allen, Camden lightweight, defeated Eddie Reid, New York negro. in the windup battle at the Northside A. C. here last night.
The Camden ringster carried seven of the eight rounds, fighting one of the greatest battles of his meteoric career. Reid gamely took the terrific trouncing and barely escaped a knockout.
