BODY OF THOMAS WHALEN FOUND The police department received a telegram last night in which it was stated that the body of Thomas Whalen, who was drowned off Chester Island last Sunday a week, had been recovered. William Green, a fisherman, discovered the corpse floating in the river. Arrangements were at once made to have the body shipped to this city. Whalen was twenty-seven years old, and lived with his wife and one year old child at 1640 Ferry avenue. He was a member of the Camden Pleasure Club and went down the river on the yacht Little John Sunday, June 25th. When off Chester Island he and several others went in bathing.
