BREAK INTO HOME.
Some time between 10.30 Tuesday night and 5 o'clock the next morning someone broke into the home of Mrs. Penven, 2746 Arthur avenue, and stole $80 that was hidden in a drawer in a sideboard of the dining room.
Entrance was forced through a window in the rear of the house and the drawer of the sideboard, which was locked, was forced open and the money, which was wrapped in a piece of cloth, in the back of the drawer, taken.
Apparently those who broke in were aware that the money was hidden there, as they apparently did not disturb anything else and were after the money.
The police were notified and District Detective Raymond H. Stark was detailed to make an investigation of the robbery.
