Brothers Seek Aid of Police in Hunt for Missing Man
A note left by Herman Shotter, 22 years old, of 1240 Sheridan street, who disappeared from his home yesterday afternoon, has led police to believe the young man committed suicide. "I am ill and believe I cannot be cured. Please do not search for me as I am going away, never to return," was the note Shotter left his widowed mother, Mrs. Augusta Shotter. Two brothers of the missing man asked the police to search for him. He has been sick for a long time and believed he could not recover. He wore a blue suit and straw hat when he left home.
