Chief Foster to Be Buried To-morrow. Acting Chief of Police William Schregler in Camden yesterday received many letters from persons all over the country expressing regret over the death of Chief of Police John Foster. Among them was a letter from Richard Sylvester, of Washington, D. C., president of the National Association of Police Chiefs and a warm personal friend of Chief Foster. The funeral, which will take place to-morrow from the home at 292 Mt. Vernon street, promises to be one of the largest the city has witnessed for many months. Captains, lieutenants and sergeants of the Philadelphia force and delegations from near-by cities will attend.
