Former Assistant Fire Chief Samuel Buzine died yesterday at his summer home, at Holly Beach, following a heat stroke. He was 70 years old, and lived at 765 Spruce street, Camden. A son, William Buzine, and four daughters survive him, Mrs. Buzine dying two years ago. He had been retired for the past eight years, having served the city for over a quarter of a century. As assistant chief, he was one of the most popular officials in Camden. Thursday morning he was in comparative good health, but the intense heat of the forepart of the week affected him greatly.
