GAVE POLICE A TUSSLE.
Fred Miller Objected to Being Arrested.
Policemen Mines and Hope had a difficult time early this morning in arresting Fred Miller, colored. Miller is a boarder at Rebecca Collins' house on Coates alley. Last night he came home intoxicated and becoming incensed at some company Rebecca was entertaining, he raised a disturbance.
Rebecca called in the police, but Miller objected to being arrested and the officers had to use force.
The Recorder gave him ten days.
