Girl Probably Averted Murder
Enraged because Albert Williams, of 709 Gold street, was successful in securing the affections of a young woman, Joshua Hines, of Eighth and Syracuse streets, Camden, yesterday threatened to shoot his rival. The cause of the dispute was walking with Williams at the time. Hines is alleged to have produced a revolver. She rushed between the men and probably averted a tragedy. Hines was subsequently arrested and committed to the county jail by Justice Wright.
