Terrance Miles, a twelve-year-old precocious youngster, was arrested yesterday for wandering around the streets at midnight and having no home. When taken before the Mayor he said his mother had left him and that his only brother, out of State Prison, was a writer for "Policy Bill Smith." This was news to the Mayor, as it was understood Smith had given up the business as there are two indictments hanging over him for policy dealing. The boy furnished the information as to where the policy writing was carried on and gave the names of several persons who were in the habit of buying five-cent rows every night. The boy was held and a raid will be made on the policy den.
