HOME BREW EXPLODES, 3 IN FAMILY INJURED Camden Man's Kitchen Spattered With Prunes and Raisins An explosion of the contents of a home made still yesterday injured Rudolphe Velke, his wife, and 6-year-old daughter Ella and caused considerable damage to their home at 411 Liberty street, Camden. A piece of the copper tank with which Velke was trying his hand as a home brewer cut his wife's forehead. Velke and his little daughter were severely scalded. The noise startled the neighborhood. George Frost and Harry Kreher, of the motorcycle squad, hurried to the house and found Velke sorrowfully surveying the wreckage. Hot prunes and raisins, liberally used in the brew, were much in evidence on the walls and floors. The copper tank was hopelessly ruined and the coils badly twisted. Many windows in the house were broken. "It was my first experience and it will be my last" said Velke to the police.
