Lambert Held for Robbery

Must Answer Two Charges — New Clue in the Kairer Case. Theodore Lambert, the negro first arrested on suspicion of being the murderer of Baker William G. Kairer, and later identified as being connected with two other robberies, was given a hearing before Police Justice Paul, in Camden, yesterday, and held in $300 bail each on two charges of robbery. Lambert is accused of stealing a watch and a purse from Mrs. Frances Hutt, of 908 Jefferson avenue, and a watch from Mrs. Mary Manlove, of 1014 Plum street. Harry B. Paul appeared for the State, and the defendant was committed to jail in default of bail. Detective Taggart, who has the Kairer murder case in hand, said last night that he had received some new information. He did not care to state what he had learned, but expressed himself as confident that the case would be cleared up before long.
