Thomas M. Madden, Democratic attorney, of 1509 Wildwood avenue, was named to fill the unexpired term of John L. Morrissey on the municipal alcoholic beverage control board. Morrissey recently became an assistant U. S. attorney. His resignation from the local board, of which he was chairman, was accepted at yesterday's meeting.
