When Vera Burns and Clara Billet, both young girls, reported to their parents that they had been attacked by a man, their fathers, together with a posse of neighbors, placed under arrest Frank Schoopfer, 32 years old, of 2516 Richmond street. Philadelphia Recorder Stackhouse held him in $500 bail for court.
