•• Patrolman William Harvey, who has been on the police force for eighteen years, during which time he has never had a complaint against him, has been cited to appear before the Police Committee to answer the charge of using impolite language to Captain Stanley.
•• The police were notified yesterday that a German emigrant had been robbed of $10 in the postoffice by two swindlers who made him believe they could easily find his brother, for whom he had been searching several hours, and would after finding the brother get him (the emigrant) a job.
