Police Break Up a "Suey and Teddy" Dance
A "Suey and Teddy" dance was broken up by the police in a place on Spruce street, Camden, early yesterday morning. It had been quite widely advertised, although in a surreptitious manner, for none but the elect were let in. At the last moment the police, in charge of Captain Stanley, made a raid on the place.
From what was told Recorder Stackhouse, the dance was of the same character as one recently "pulled off" by a local social organization. Charlotte Stewart was committed to jail by the Recorder as the one responsible for the orgy.
