Police Captain Stanley and a squad of officers early yesterday morning made a raid on a house at Baxter and Sycamore streets, Camden. It is said card and crap games were in full blast. The police arrested William Rollins, Ernest Baker, Benjamin Counsellor, Walter Chambers, Frank Smother and Hiawathia Moore. The house is vacant. The owners had appealed to the police that it had been taken possession of by a number of colored men. The raid resulted. Cards, poker chips, a dice table and other paraphernalia were taken.
