John B. Di Simone, whose cigar store at 207 Clinton street yielded a quantity of whisky, paid a fine of $100, as did Mrs. Carrie Becker, 38, of 1245 North Thirty-third street, whose place was raided by police of the Third district. In the Becker home ten men were arrested, including Edward Marshman, 21, of 20 Morse street, whose inability to recall the sale of liquor drew the judge's ire and a jail sentence.
