LOGAN – A 61-year-old Salem County man died after the Jaguar he was driving ran off the road and overturned on Interstate 295 Wednesday morning.
Robert V. Aceto Jr. of Pilesgrove was declared dead upon officers’ arrival at the scene as a result of injuries suffered in the crash, New Jersey State Trooper Robert Thomas of the Woodstown station said Wednesday.
Police said they were unsure why or how Aceto lost control of the car around 10:17 a.m., but he ran off the northbound shoulder of I-295 and overturned.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Thomas said. “We’re waiting for the toxicology report.”
