Soldier Promotes Campaign to Get Mail From Home So anxious are Uncle Sam's soldiers to have letters written from home they have started a promotion campaign to encourage it. That was revealed today in a communication which Dorothy K. Kelly, of 141 North Thirty-third street, employed by the Courier-Post Newspapers, received from an Army friend in Oahu, Hawaiian Islands. The soldier, Corporal E. L. Coleman, a former Atlantic City resident, who conducted an artist concession on the boardwalk there, sent copies of two sketches he drew to use in connection with the campaign for letter-writing. Corporal Coleman and other soldiers at Wheeler Field, Oahu, plan to circularize as many organizations and individuals as possible to have them assist in encouraging writing of letters. Coleman also has written several pieces of verse on the subject.
