Mrs. Matilda Shull, residing in Camden, while walking with her husband and another gentleman on the track of the West Jersey Railroad on Friday morning, was struck by the engine of a Bridgeport train and instantly killed.

Asbury Park complains of unsatisfactory mail service between that city and New York.

The Gloucester Iron Works are overcrowded with work, and are employing a force of 275 men.

John Horan, a farm hand, living near New Brunswick, was attacked by a boar and badly injured on Friday.

The Asbury Park Daily Journal will resume publication on June 15th and continue until August 29th. The weekly issue will continue as usual.

Seton Hall College will hold its commencement on June 17th. Archbishop Corrigan, Bishop McQuaid, of Rochester, and Mgr. Doane, of Newark, are to be present.

Work was resumed last week at the iron mines at Turkey Hill, near Asbury, Warren county. The mines have been idle a long time, and many of the old employes having left the place, the company had to advertise for 100 men.
