Two Crippled Vets Are Arrested Here on A.W.O.L. Tour
Two wounded World War veterans who went A. W. O. L. from the Walter Reed Hospital, at Washington, several days ago to "tour" the country in a "borrowed" automobile, were arrested at the Camden bridge entrance yesterday when they couldn't produce a quarter bridge toll.
They are Raymond L. Keen, 34, and James E. Donnelly, 44.
Keen is charged with driving a car without a license and Donnelly with possession of an automobile without the owner's consent.
They told Motorcycle Patrolman Earl Wright that they became tired of life at the hospital and decided to go absent without official leave with the machine of Irvin Graybill, also a patient at the hospital.
Both men are badly crippled and are supported by braces. They will be given a hearing today.
