Survivors Do Honor to Dead Comrade of Civil War
Surviving members of Company G, of the Twelfth Regiment, of which the deceased was lieutenant colonel in the Civil War, were pall-bearers yesterday at the funeral in Camden of Dr. Henry F. Chew, who died on Wednesday at Flushing, Long Island. They included Arthur C. Stanley, Harry Avis, Harry Hartranft, J. B. Harbison, Captain Pierce and Captain Brooks.
Services were held at 427 Market street, in charge of Rev. Dr. H. F. Gravatt, and Masonic exercises were held at the grave in Harleigh Cemetery.
