Wesley Faust, Ex-Fireman
Funeral services for A. Wesley Faust, a former Camden City fireman, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the L. W. Ott Funeral Home, Boyertown, Pa.
Faust died Sunday of an apparent heart attack while he was investigating a three-car accident as a sergeant for the New Hanover Township, Pa. police department.
He resided in Frederick, Pa. and was 54.
Faust was born in Camden and graduated from Camden High School in 1940 before serving 10 years with the city fire department.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, and earned a purple heart while working as a bombardier.
He has lived in Boyertown the past 14 years.
Burial will follow services at Union Cemetery, Bechtelsville. Friends may call 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Edith H.; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian M. Kern and Mrs. Deborah H. Fisher, both of Bechtelsville, Pa.; a son Wesley, of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Unruh of Marlton, and six grandchildren.
