28th Street runs from the Delaware River south, across River Road to the Pavonia railroad switching yard, then to Westfield Avenue, Federal Street and Washington Street. It is North 28th Street above Federal and South 28th below.
George W. Spicks, 85, who retired as a Camden hotel keeper in 1923, died at his home, 52 South Twenty-eighth Street. He had owned a hotel at Twenty-first and Federal Streets for 40 years. Survived by two daughters and one granddaughter.
