GEORGE W. SPICKS
George W. Spicks, 85, who retired as a Camden hotel keeper in 1923, died yesterday. Mr. Spicks died at his home, 52 South Twenty-eighth street, after a long illness. He owned a hotel at the corner of Twenty-first and Federal streets for 40 years. He was born in Philadelphia and had lived in Camden for 65 years.
He was the husband of the late Fredericka Spicks who died in 1928. He is survived by two daughters and Mrs. Florence Winstanley, both of Camden, and one granddaughter.
Mr. Spicks was a member of Aerie No. 42, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m., at the Sudler-Eichel Funeral Home, Twenty-seventh and Carmen streets. Burial will be in Arlington cemetery.
