301 South 6th Street Southwest corner of South 6th Street and Stevens Street The First Methodist Episcopal Church, established in 1809, transitioned to the name Third Street Methodist Episcopal Church in 1899 before relocating to a new building on June 5, 1893.

Cooper Street
One of Camden's oldest and most storied streets, named after the Cooper family. Covers the full length from the waterfront to the 2000 block, including the Victor Talking Machine Company, Esterbrook Pen Company, Johnson Park, the Hotel Plaza, the Walt Whitman Hotel, the Elks Lodge, and East Camden's other Cooper Street.

Alice Burdsall was born in Pennsylvania around 1873. First appointed a teacher in Camden in 1908, she rented a room from Sarah Wescott of 108 Broadway at the time of the 1910 census.

Camden Courier-Post - February 3, 1938 Fatally injured in a runaway accident yesterday, Samuel Saunders, 37, of 523 Grant Street , died at 5.15 p. m. in Cooper Hospital of a fractured skull and concussion of the brain.
