A holdup man who asked for a pint of whisky stole $85.55 from the K Liquor Store, 321 Market st., two blocks from Camden police headquarters, shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burglars tried in vain Wednesday night on a safe at the Cooperson auto body repair shop, 38 N. 4th st. They left empty-handed after ransacking several filing cabinets.
