Car Skids in Tracks, Hits Pole, Hurts Three

Three persons were injured last night when an Audubon motorist lost control of his automobile while attempting to steer away from trolley tracks on Mt. Ephraim avenue, near Decatur, and struck a pole.
The injured were Miss Virginia Ogden, 23, of 404 North Seventh street; Frank Gray, 39, of 260 Audubon avenue, and Miss Dorothy Conroy, 19, of 507 North Fourth street.
Miss Conroy was admitted to the West Jersey Homeopathic Hospital with a possible fractured back, while the others were treated there for cuts and bruises.
Horace Haines, 32, of 50 Oakland avenue, Audubon, driver of the car, was arrested and held in $500 bail pending outcome of the Conroy girl's injuries. He told police the accident was unavoidable.
