Carl Weiwadel

Funeral services for Carl Weiwadel, a Spanish-American and Philippine wars veteran, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow from Schroeder Chapel, Broadway and Royden Street. He lived at 138 North Twenty-second Street, and was well-known on the East Side. He died Friday night in Cooper Hospital at the age of 45.

During his war service he won two service medals and a sharpshooters medal. He was a member of Post 980, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and his comrades will act as pallbearers. Burial will be in Arlington cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, several children, and a brother and sister. One son, Harold, died two months ago. He was a foreman for the Philadelphia Metal Stamping Co.
