City detectives today were questioning three youths arrested in different sections of Camden, who are believed to be responsible for a series of robberies.
At the same time police were investigating the theft of clothing from a store at Ann and Sycamore streets, and the pilfering of $1.50 from the desk of a teacher of the Broadway school.
Francis Smith, 19 years old, of 1120 Locust street, and Raymond Walker, 19 years old, of 747 Woodland avenue, were arrested by Policeman James McTaggart, in the rear of a house at Broadway and Atlantic avenue.
The boys said they were "waiting for somebody." McTaggart took them to police headquarters at 1.50 o'clock this morning. There, screw drivers were found when their clothing was searched.
