After a sudden attack of pneumonia while visiting her brother, Miss Henrietta Townsend, aged 56 years, a retired Philadelphia school teacher, died at her relative's home, 1131 North Twenty-second street, East Camden. She had been at the home of her brother, John J. Townsend, but a short time when she was taken ill. A physician who was called in said that death was due to the pneumonia, but that a heart affection had contributed to the sudden end. Miss Townsend for a number of years taught school at Pokomoke City, Md. She resided at 1247 North Forty-seventh street, Philadelphia.
