The fifteen days' suspension imposed on Policeman David Ellis, of Camden, by the Police Committee of City Council expired yesterday. Though still under the ban of indefinite suspension by Mayor Nowrey he reported for duty last night. Captain Stanley, acting under orders of Chief Foster, refused to recognize Ellis, who said that he was acting under the advice of counsel and that the case would be carried to the courts for adjudication.
