GIRL KEPT SUIT. And Installment Dealer Had Cecelia Simons Arrested. Cecelia Simons, aged 20 years, of 1113 Locust street, was committed to the County Jail in default of $200 bail, by Justice Baldwin, on Saturday night, on a charge of obtaining a suit of clothes under false pretences. The complaint was made by S. Lewis, an installment dealer, of 1109-111 Broadway. At the hearing it was testified that the girl got a suit of clothes from Lewis under the plea she wanted to show them to her father before purchasing. Lewis is acquainted with the family and let her have the suit. She did not return either goods or money and the suit was brought.
