Girl to Get Cash If Unwed at 21

A granddaughter will share in her grandmother's estate at 25, provided she does not marry before she is 21, under the terms of a will admitted to probate by Surrogate Frank B. Hanna. The will is that of Mrs. Katie M. Conner, of 2407 Howell street, who died Nov. 16 at 75. Mrs. Conner, widow of Louis Conner, left an estate comprising $2000 personal property and $3000 real estate. She named the Camden Safe Deposit & Trust Company executor. Mrs. Conner bequeathed her cottage at Pine Beach to her daughter, Mrs. Blanche C. Fisher, of this city. The premises at 2407 Howell street was bequeathed to the trust company as trustee to permit a granddaughter, Anna Frances Hess, to live in free of rent. Mrs. Conner left the remainder of her estate to her trustee to invest and re-invest, with one-third to be paid to her granddaughter, Catherine Amelia Fisher, when she reaches 25, provided she does not marry before 21, and the other two-thirds to great grandsons, Edward Charles Hess and Richard Hess, equally, when they reach 25. Mrs. Conner was prominent in South Jersey fraternal circles.
