HUSBAND FACES CHARGE OF BEATING WIFE DAILY
Because he is alleged to have beaten her daily, Mrs. Margaret Ptris, 320 Morse street, yesterday caused the arrest of her husband, William. She told Justice of the Peace William E. Laird that her husband laid in wait for her every day for one week as she was about to report for duty at a chain grocery store as cashier and gave her a beating.
Ptris, who lives at 2109 Berwick street, was arrested by Constable William Burtis. Laird held the man under $300 bail for court.
