JOSEPH TISCHNER Joseph Tischner, 56, of 1019 North Twentieth street, a prominent East Camden tavern operator, died yesterday at American Stomach hospital, Philadelphia, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Camden, Mr. Tischner operated a tavern at 1000 North Twenty-seventh street for the last 16 years. He is survived by his widow, Anna; a son, Bernard; a daughter, Miss Frances Tischner; his mother, Mrs. Frances Tischner, and two grandchildren. High requiem Mass will be sung Wednesday at 9 a. m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Friends will meet Tuesday night and at 8 a. m. Wednesday at the home. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The funeral is under direction of Antonio Mecca.
