Licenses Transferred

LICENSES TRANSFERRED. The following transfers were granted: Caroline Hoelzle, of Front and Vine streets, to John S. Smith; William C. Miller, from 524 Liberty street, to [?]74 Vanhook street; Moses Hughes, 1157 Federal street, to Peter Petrick. Commissioner Cooper called the attention of the board to the fact that Xavier Schnurr, of Third and Spruce streets, had been before Mayor Westcott, charged with selling liquor to minors and that sentence was suspended. About ten days later Schnurr, he said, was fined by the Mayor for disorderly conduct. Colonel Cooper said something should be done by the board, but no action was taken. The board will meet again next Wednesday evening.
