MacDonald-Sharp Wedding Will Be 7 o'Clock Event
The marriage of Miss L. Jeannette Sharp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. Sharp, of 819 Morgan boulevard, and James O. MacDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. James O. MacDonald, of 3026 North Congress road, will be married at seven o'clock tonight in the Woodland Avenue Presbyterian Church, this city.
Rev. Charles Evers, pastor of the church, will perform the ceremony. Mrs. Armand J. Springer will play the wedding march and accompany Miss Verna Osborne, of New York, a cousin of the bride, in vocal solos preceding the ceremony.
The bride is to be given in marriage by her father and will be attended by Miss Evelyn M. Fox, of Vineland, her cousin, as maid of honor; Miss E. Florence Smith and Miss Catherine Schultz, of this city, as bridesmaids and Miss Ruth Sharp, her young sister, and Miss Priscilla MacDonald, the bridegroom's sister, as flower girls.
A white satin gown, made on princess lines, with a jacket of lace, will be worn by the bride. Her tulle veil will fall from a cap of pearls and she will carry a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.
The maid of honor will wear a yellow point d'esprit frock, matching lace mitts and slippers, and will carry yellow roses. Point de'esprit frocks will be worn by the bridesmaids also, Miss Smith in rose and Miss Schultz in blue and their bouquets will be of pink roses. The flower girls will be dressed alike in white French organdie and will carry baskets of pink roses.
William E. Lehberger, of Camden, will be best man for the bridegroom and ushers will be Harry R. Sharp, Jr., the bride's brother, and Thomas Berg, of this city, will usher.
Following a reception at the Crescent Country Club, Mr. MacDonald and his bride will leave for a motor trip through New England. On their return they will make their home at 1069 Trent road, Fairview.
Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Camden High School.
