MODERN LUMBER AND WOODWORKING CO. congratulates the State of New Jersey on its 300th anniversary. We at Modern are proud to be a part of this great state. We have been in the specialized field of architectural and custom millwork for the past 20 years at: 226 N. 38th St., Camden, New Jersey It has been our pleasure to serve the people of our state in the past, and we are looking forward to continuing this service to an even greater degree in the future. Since our future depends upon our children, we are especially proud of the work we have done for our school system. We have supplied the millwork for hundreds of new South Jersey schools as well as aiding in the expansion and modernization of existing schools. Our communities have been made better places in which to live by the work done on churches, municipal buildings, banks and business establishments. The prosperity of our community leads to the prosperity of our state and thus enhances all our lives. We at Modern are following in the footsteps of our state in the area of improvement and expansion of its services and facilities. On May 2nd, 1964 we held a grand opening of our new retail division at 220 So. White Horse Pike, Berlin, N.J. This showroom features the material and equipment needed by the do-it-yourself handyman for home improvements and additions. We carry a complete line of lumber, ceiling tile, paneling, molding, plywood (sheets and cut to size) doors, stock and special millwork, plastic laminates, etc. In the past we have supplied our services and material primarily to contractors for large public and private buildings. We are now looking forward to serving the general public in our new Berlin store and showrooms. In addition to supplying all the material you will need, we would like to share with you the knowledge we have accrued from our 20 years' experience in the building trade. Hope to See You Soon!
