Musick - Pernier
The marriage of Miss Frances Mary Pernier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis P. Pernier, of 3009 Alabama road, and Mr. Joseph A. Musick Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Musick, of 2938 Cramer street, took place this morning at 10 o'clock in St. Joan of Arc Church. The Rev. William P. McCorristin officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin made entrain and fashioned with a tunic of Chantilly lace designed with a standup collar. Her fingertip veil of illusion was arranged from a satin bonnet overlaid with lace and she carried an arm bouquet of calla lilies.
Miss Rita T. Pernier attended her twin sister as maid of honor in a camellia pink velveteen frock fashioned with a matching cape featuring a standup collar. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of violets encircled with pink camellias. Gowns similar to that of the honor attendant, but in mauve, were worn by the bridesmaids, Miss Dolores A. Tumelty, of Lansdowne, Pa., cousin of the bride; Miss Ida M. Maccarella, of this city, and Miss Dorothy E. Pernier, sister of the bride. Their old fashioned bouquets were of pink camellias, encircled with violets. All attendants wore pleated bonnets and mitts to match their gowns.
Mr. Joseph P. Lipka Jr., of this city, acted as best man for his cousin, and ushers included Mr. Alfred Locke Jr., of Merchantville, and Mr. Frederick C. Beer Jr. and Mr. John Bullock, of Camden.
A reception followed at the Haddon Fortnightly, Haddonfield. On their return from a wedding trip to New York and the Poconos, Mr. Musick and his bride will make their home in Collingswood.
