Police Shake-up in Camden
There was a general change in Camden’s Police Department yesterday occasioned by the retirement of Captain Arthur Stanley after nearly twenty years of service. He was succeeded as captain by Sergeant Lewis Stehr, who takes charge of the Second district. Sergeant George Nowrey was transferred from the Third to the Second district and Patrolman George Anderson made a sergeant in the Third district. Policeman Fred Lechleidner was made a jailor and Harry A. Corson, of the Sixth ward, was made a patrolman by Mayor Ellis.
